Anticorrosive Polymeric Coatings

Abstract In order to improve the anticorrosion protection properties, polypyrrole thin films were deposited on silicon steel plates. The anticorrosive effect of polypriol coating was evaluated by electrochemical measurements in two different aqueous solutions potassium chloride and hydrochloric acid. Polypyrrole-coated plates immersed for one seven days, respectively. obtained results show that layer ensures effective against corrosion, especially solution.
